On the spot!
Last Thursday, April 29, 2010, Marion concluded that the system that his immediate supervisor wants to be computerized could not be done. This is because it is only data entry, and can be implemented by using only Microsoft Excel and not by Visual Basic 2010 programming software. If it would be done by using this programming software, the scope of putting this into action in the system will be complex. To simplify the work, Marion just studied "on the spot" the main features of the Excel after reporting and presenting his computerized system to his supervisor. This features are the printing which includes editing the layout of print preview, formatting which handles the formation of cells and how it is be manipulated, and using built-in tools like adding borders, margins and vice versa. This task is simply understanding the controls that makes Excel usable especially on reports that needs matrices. Luckily, the wanted output has occurred in the hard copy that takes much time of printing for the reason that Marion forgot to fast draft it.
